The NUX METAL CORE Deluxe MKII is a distortion pedal that delivers the aggressive and powerful sound metal guitarists crave. With its clean and simple design, the pedal is easy to use and lets you create a massive wall of metal tones with just a press of a button.
Shape your sound with precision using the 3-band EQ and adjust the distortion intensity with the Gain knob. Control the volume with the Master Volume and experiment with different gain types using the 3-position gain switch. The LED indicator shows whether the pedal is active, in bypass mode, or in "alt mode." The pedal is powered by a 9V DC power supply (not included). A USB input allows for firmware updates and access to additional pedal features.
The NUX METAL CORE Deluxe MKII is equipped with an IR (Impulse Response) function, enabling amplifier-free use by simulating speaker cabinets. Each of the three built-in amp models—Duo Rect, Fireman, and VH4—features a matching IR to complement its tonal characteristics. You can also load custom third-party IR files via the MetalCore editing software, providing flexibility to further customize your sound.
