Warm Audio WA-C1 is a meticulous recreation of one of the most iconic and celebrated analog chorus and vibrato pedals in guitar history. It comes with additional features to explore legendary modulation tones without compromise. Like the original, the WA-C1 offers a fully analog preamp system with lush chorus and vibrato tones. Additional features include separate controls for depth and rate on the chorus section, as well as a hi-z switch on the back to compensate for higher impedance from guitars compared to keyboards, resulting in clearer high frequencies and enhanced openness for guitars.

True Analog Preamp
The WA-C1 is equipped with a 100% analog preamp, designed after the legendary original. It has a level control that adds extra bite, depth, and natural compression to guitar tones. The pedal is powered by a built-in voltage regulator that ensures stable performance, even when using an external 9V power adapter. The preamp adds character and color even when the pedal is in bypass mode.

Deep and Lush Chorus
The WA-C1 delivers the rich midrange depth and detail characteristic of analog chorus pedals based on Bucket Brigade Device technology. The pedal uses a modern MN3007 BBD chip recreation from Xvive and other high-quality components to precisely replicate the original pedal's tone. Through careful calibration, the WA-C1 matches the original’s depth and rate, providing a truly authentic sonic experience.

Three-Dimensional Vibrato
When you want to add a smooth "wobbly" effect to your sound, activate the vibrato setting on the WA-C1 for faster and more dynamic modulations. The vibrato mode can deliver anything from quick rotary-like effects to tones perfect for funk, fusion, blues, jazz, and other genres. The pedal features a blinking LED that shows which setting is active and the modulation rate.

Separate Controls for Chorus
With separate controls for depth and rate, the WA-C1 offers more flexibility than older original models, which often had a combined "intensity control." On vintage pedals, both depth and rate would increase simultaneously, but with the WA-C1, you can set deeper tones at slower rates to create even richer chorus sounds.

Selectable Impedance for Different Instruments
The WA-C1 features a switch to choose between a vintage input impedance of 50k ohms and a 1.1M Hi-Z setting, better suited for passive string instruments, to enhance clarity. This function works even in bypass mode to maintain clarity.
