C.F. Martin 000-17 – Warm, balanced tone in a short-scale 000 body
The Martin 000-17 is a fresh addition to the Standard Series that pays homage to vintage design while embracing modern refinements. With a solid mahogany top, back and sides, traditional compound dovetail neck joint and Golden Era scalloped Sitka spruce bracing, it delivers a warm, woody tone with exceptional balance – ideal for both fingerstyle and strumming.
The short 24.9" scale and select hardwood neck with GE Modified Low Oval profile and High Performance taper provide a smooth, comfortable feel. The ebony fingerboard features a thinner design with beveled edges and refined string spacing for improved ergonomics and playability.
Aesthetically, the dark satin mahogany finish is paired with vintage-style appointments such as an old-style script headstock logo, faux tortoise pickguard, and nickel open-gear tuners with butterbean knobs. The 000-17 brings together timeless sound and modern comfort in one elegant instrument.
