Electric guitar with Hollowbody and Semi Acoustic is a type of guitar that is the precursor to the solid electric guitar . It has a hollow sound box but captures most of their sound from the strings in the installed microphones. A hollowbody or semi- acoustic guitar should not be confused with an acoustic guitar with a microphone.
