The bass guitar is a guitar that you play the lower tones with . A bass guitar is typically 4 -string bass guitars, but there are some with more strings . Bass guitars, has usually thicker  strings and the strings are tuned one octave in the guitar four darkest ( lowest key ) strings , that is , E, A, D and G are calculated from the coarsest .

Electric bass guitar is just like it sounds a bass guitar that amplifies its sound through a microphone and amplifier. Acoustic bass guitar amplifies its sound through a hollow acoustic box just like an acoustic guitar.
