The NOS 76 setting (using 1x OC76 & 1x SFT337 transistors) provides the “early” Bender tones with sharp highs, clear presence, and a dynamic drive that cleans up nicely. The NOS 75 setting (with 3x OC75 transistors) offers the classic Mark II Professional-style fuzz with added bass for legendary riffs. The modern Silicon setting, featuring a 3-transistor topology, delivers a tighter low and top end with smooth, distortion-like tones. The SAG control lets you adjust the voltage to achieve a “dying battery” effect, adding touch sensitivity and compression. Pedal Controls and Settings
The Warm Bender pedal includes standard ATTACK (Gain/Fuzz) and LEVEL (Loudness) controls typical of Tone Bender-style pedals. The SAG switch reduces the voltage from 9V to 6V, perfect for achieving that touch-sensitive, compressed sound. The three main settings are:

• NOS 76 Setting - Aggressive fuzz with raw grit and a sharp attack. The high-pass filter ensures your sound cuts through any mix.
• NOS 75 Setting - Rich, thunderous bass with smooth, wooly fuzz tones. Ideal for achieving a Cream/Woman tone and Zeppelin-like riffs, depending on your pickup choice.
• SILICON Setting - Resembling a distortion sound, this circuit provides smoother sustain, compression, and better control, delivering tighter bass and treble.

Pro Tip: As a true-bypass, through-hole, NOS Germanium fuzz pedal, the Warm Bender should be placed first in your signal chain if you use other pedals for varied textures and tones. This is especially important with buffered-bypass pedals. Even a simple tuner placed before a vintage-style fuzz can cause issues!

Exceptional Build Quality - Superior Sound - Rare Components
The Warm Bender uses authentic NOS OC76, OC75, and SFT337 Germanium transistors. These “New Old Stock” components are difficult to source and must meet precise performance specifications to deliver genuine Bender-style tones. Vintage Germanium transistors were produced in large batches and then tested to determine their classification. Although vintage stock still exists, finding the right specs in sufficient quantities is challenging.

After three years of research and numerous attempts, Warm Audio secured a large-scale US-based supplier of NOS parts. This partner has been collecting components since the late 1950s and has an extensive inventory of NOS transistors. Their thorough testing process ensures each transistor meets the specific requirements for OC75, OC76, and SFT337 categories. Warm Audio further tested these transistors, deconstructing some to verify their specifications matched the published data sheets.

Stringent Testing for Optimal Performance
Transistors are tested multiple times: first by the supplier against datasheet specifications, then by Warm Audio for leakage and HFE (Hybrid Forward Exchange - aka “Gain” test) before the pedal assembly. If a transistor fails to meet the additional in-house specifications, it is discarded. Warm Audio ensures that each transistor fits seamlessly within the Warm Bender circuit. Finally, every Warm Bender pedal is tested at Warm Audio HQ in Texas for audible noise and full functionality, guaranteeing it delivers the iconic Bender-style tones.

As NOS stock is finite, Warm Audio continually seeks reliable suppliers to offer the Warm Bender, reviving vintage tones for as long as possible.
