Crafted with an inventive Performance-X bracing pattern, the dreadnought body of the Fender California Vintage King is delicately fashioned with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid ovangkol back and sides. This construction effortlessly produces a substantial, bass-filled voice with exceptional detail, projection, and volume. The okoume neck is shaped with an ergonomic modern "V" profile, accompanied by a 25.5" scale length for optimal sustain. The tilt-back 6-in-line headstock with a maple headcap adds a distinctive touch inspired by Fender's electric guitar DNA. Additional features include a bound ovangkol fingerboard with pearloid block inlays for a nostalgic appearance, vintage-style tuning machines for smooth and accurate tuning, and a bone nut and saddle for superior harmonic character.
