C.F. Martin D-X2E Ziricote Burst

Martin's well-known X series has undergone an update, making it even more attractive and significantly more comfortable and enjoyable to play. The series has received a new, slimmer neck profile, as well as rounded bridge and fingerboard edges. This results in an ultra-comfortable guitar that is light and pleasant to play. Additionally, all models in the X series now come with Martin's E1 pickup system with volume, tone, and phase controls, as well as a built-in chromatic tuner. And yes, of course, a gig bag is included too.

Aesthetically, the new models have also received new beautiful HPL patterns, a thinner rosette in abalone or "herringbone," and a headplate in the same HPL pattern as the back and sides.

Additionally, the D-X2E's back and sides now feature a wonderfully stylish wood print that gives the guitar a luxurious appearance that complements its sound. You also get a premium solid spruce top that provides clear resonance, warmth, and professional volume that only improves with age.

The HPL laminate that the D-X2E Ziricote is constructed from guarantees improved durability and resistance to the surrounding climate, not to mention the sophisticated tone of HPL laminate. Martin's HPL back and sides provide a lively, sustained tone and a warm bass that far surpasses traditional veneer wood. The D-X2E's back and sides are complemented by a solid Sitka spruce top that adds liveliness and dynamics, making the overall sound of the guitar vibrant and convincing. Inside the guitar box, the carefully crafted X-bracing supports the strength and balance of the spruce. The D-X2E's neck, fingerboard, and bridge are also made of solid wood, and the Performing Artist neck profile provides well-balanced playability for both fingerpicking and chord playing.

With built-in Martin E1 electronics, you can quickly connect the guitar to an acoustic amplifier, a recording sound card, or a PA system on stage. The E1 system's tone, volume, and phase controls allow you to amplify the D-X2E's rich and warm tone while shaping the sound as needed. The E1's phase control enables you to eliminate unpleasant feedback in tight spaces where standing close to your amplifier is inevitable! Additionally, the E1 system has a built-in tuner. You can tune the guitar without any cable connection, so tuning on stage and on the couch can be done without hassle.
